This stage is Qianjiang Circuit Race. The starting and ending points are both located in Caoyu Park. The total length of the track is 113 kilometers. It is mainly composed of two sprint points and one level 4 climbing point.
In the opening stage of the competition, Mykhaylo Kononenko from Beijing Xidesheng-Innova Cycling Team and Oleksii Kasianov from RTS Racing Team established a weak lead on the track. However, after the first sprint at 25.9 km, the two breakout riders were swallowed up by the main bicycles.
Subsequently, the front of the main bicycle group pulled continuously.
